The Sterilight S12Q-PA Ultraviolet (UV) water sterilizer is a popular and economical choice for average whole house water purification to kill bacteria (including coliform and e.coli), viruses, cryptosporidium, giardia, and a wide range of other microbioogical contaminants, the maximum d flow rate is not greater than 15.1 gallons per minute (GPM) or 57.0 litres per minute (LPM).

The Sterilight S12Q-PA (part of Sterilights's Silver Series) s many poluar convenience features including a visual "lamp on" indicator light, audible lamp failure alarm, and LED display that indicates lamp life remaining and total controller run time. The S12Q-PA also features a stainless steel reactor chamber, a fire-polished domed quartz sleeve, and Sterilights' popular Sterilume™-EX coated low pressure germicidal UV lamp which can be easily changed without interrupting the water flow. It also incorporates Sterilight's Silver controller which automatically senses line voltage between 100 and 240 volts for consistent UV output and performance in varying electrical operating conditions.
